EWF Contributor Terms and Conditions
By submitting content to the Executive Women’s Forum, a division of DSG Global (the EWF), you (“Contributor”) agree to the following terms and conditions. Submissions are open to members, partners, and professionals in cybersecurity, risk, and technology. Contributors from EWF benefactor companies may receive priority consideration. All contributors must be directly involved in the creation of the submitted content.
1. Copyright and License
The Contributor retains copyright to their submission. By submitting content, the Contributor grants EWF a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to publish, display, distribute, and use the content in digital and print formats, on the EWF website, in newsletters, and other EWF communications. This license continues indefinitely unless revoked in writing. Previously published content may remain in the EWF archives.
2. Originality and Intellectual Property
All submissions must be original and must not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights. Any third-party content must include proper permission or attribution. Summaries or recaps of existing work are permitted only if written in your own words, provide a unique perspective, and properly cite the source.
3. Company Approval
If a submission references a company, or internal data, the Contributor must have authorization from that company. Contributors are encouraged to anonymize examples where company authorization is not available. Submissions that mention a company without permission will be rejected or removed.
4. Use of AI Tools
AI tools may be used to support content creation. Contributors remain fully responsible for the originality, accuracy, and compliance of the content with these terms.
5. Types of Content
News & Insights: Articles, blogs, and insight reports intended for public publication on the EWF website. Recommended length is 600–800 words with 3–5 key takeaways. Third-person voice is required; promotional or sales-focused content will not be accepted.
Resource Library: Member-only tools, templates, checklists, frameworks, guides, and insight reports. Content must be actionable, professional, and aligned with at least one of EWF’s seven pillars. Each resource should include a short description explaining its purpose, how it can be used, and the problem it solves. Resource Library content is behind a member-only gate, but selected submissions may be featured as tools for the full EWF community.
6. Review and Acceptance
The EWF editorial team reserves the right to review and edit all submissions to ensure alignment with mission, pillars, and community standards. Contributors will be contacted only if the submission is accepted. Not all submissions will be accepted, and contributors are encouraged to refine and resubmit if necessary. EWF reserves the right to edit, format, or reject submissions.
7. Contributor Responsibilities
Submissions are voluntary; no compensation is provided. Contributors are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and originality of their content. Sensitive or confidential information should not be included. By submitting content, contributors grant the EWF a non-exclusive license to use and distribute the content as outlined above.
8. Archiving and Data
EWF may collect basic information such as name, company, and role to manage and publish submissions. Content may be archived for future use, including in resource libraries, newsletters, or other member communications. Contributors may request the removal of content by emailing [email protected], but previously published submissions may remain in the archives.
9. Limitation of Liability
EWF is not responsible for consequences arising from unauthorized company references or inaccurate content. Contributors agree to indemnify and hold EWF harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their submission.
By submitting content, the Contributor acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions of the Executive Women’s Forum, a division of DSG Global.
