EWF Code of Conduct

The Executive Women’s Forum (EWF), a division of DSG Global, is dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming experience for everyone regardless of race, religion, color, national origin, sexual orientation, gender expression or identity, transgender status, age, disability, veteran or marital status, or any other protected categories under applicable U.S. law.

The EWF Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for participant behavior, as well as the consequences for unacceptable behavior. We encourage all participants to read the full document. All determinations of appropriate or inappropriate behavior are at the sole discretion of the EWF, and the decision(s) determined by the EWF will be final.

Expected Behavior

Participants are expected to conduct themselves – at all times – in a manner that comports with the letter and spirit of this policy, before, during, or after an EWF event.

1. Be respectful of others and of viewpoints that may differ from yours.

2. Be considerate of those around you.

3. Be mindful of your words and actions.

4. Be supportive of the instructions provided by the EWF staff, speakers, and moderators.

Unacceptable behavior

All forms of harassment will not be tolerated, whether in person or virtuallyHarassment includes using abusive, offensive, or derogatory language; intimidation; stalking; harassing photography or recording; inappropriate physical contact; sexual imagery; and unwelcome sexual advances or requests for sexual favors. This includes, but is not limited to, harassment based on gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, religion, or any other status protected by applicable U.S. laws. Any report of harassment, whether in person or virtual, will be addressed immediately by the EWF staff.

Sexualized images, activities, or other materials are not allowed in sessions or events. This  includes materials and statements used in social media posts, online publications, or any other forms of electronic communication which reference EWF activities or hashtags.

Presentations, postings, and messages that contain promotional materials, special offers, job offers, product announcements, or solicitations for services are not allowed in sessions or events.

Any dialogue that seeks to denigrate or humiliate any company, product, representative, or platform is prohibited. The EWF encourages respectful, robust, candid, and thoughtful dialogue about products, companies, and issues.

Disruptive speech, chatting, messaging, or other behavior that interferes with the event or other individuals’ participation will not be tolerated.

An individual or company is not permitted to repeatedly seek out a participant who does not wish to share their contact information.

Accessing restricted areas without a proper pass and/or credential; misusing passes and/or credentials; and presenting a false identification are prohibited.

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please find an EWF team member onsite or contact us at [email protected].

    Consequences

If a participant engages in harassing behavior, whether in-person or virtually, the EWF staff will take appropriate action based on the circumstances — ranging from a warning to expulsion from the event, platform, or program with no refund. The EWF also reserves the right to exclude any participant engaging in harassing behavior from participating in any other EWF events, offerings, social media platforms, or programs.

The above policies may be revised at any time by the EWF.
Thank you for your cooperation in helping us maintain a friendly, safe, and welcoming event environment.
